Job Overview

Job Description:

JOB TITLE:  Senior-Solution Architect

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Street, Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES:   Work as part of a DevOps team to develop and maintain a workflow-based system to build business solution APIs using Agile methodologies with Agile Craft and Lean Kit tools, Java, Spring Boot, and Cassandra deployed on a Cloud based infrastructure. Participate in design discussions and scrum meetings. Develop REST APIs with Spring Boot and Cassandra. Write entity classes and configure mappings with JPA annotations for data persistence with ORM framework Hibernate. Complete CI and CD integration with Jenkins. Write unit tests with JUnit and integration tests with Cucumber. Use JMeter to load test components and ensure that the applications are horizontally scalable. Run scheduler jobs daily and push data to elastic search engine with Rest Template. Use scheduler to pull data from DB and push to Elasticsearch search engine. Support Test Team to understand the functionality and E2E testing. Support operations team with troubleshooting production issues. Complete software development and program Java. Utilize  Spring Boot and Cassandra. Working with Unix, CentOS, REST API development, Git, Maven, and Gradle. Tune APIs using profilers and analyze heap dumps. Distribute cache mechanisms and messaging systems. Work with Angular, Openstack, and other cloud computing software. Utilize IP Networking and complete  Troubleshooting. Work with Kubernetes and Docker. Implement Agile methodologies with Agile Craft and Lean Kit tools.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Applied Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Software Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation completing software development and program Java; utilizing  Spring Boot and Cassandra; working with Unix, CentOS, REST API development, Git, Maven, and Gradle; tuning APIs using profilers and analyzing heap dumps; distributing caching mechanisms and messaging systems; working with Angular, Openstack, and other cloud computing software; utilizing IP Networking and complete Troubleshooting; working with Kubernetes and Docker; and implementing Agile methodologies with Agile Craft and Lean Kit tools.

Our Senior-Solution Architects earn between $156,000 - $231,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
