About the Team:
The CTX group works on providing digital transformation solutions to provide great customer experience thus enabling business outcomes in online space in complete customer lifecycle including shopping, sales, service. We use technologies such as cloud including container technology, full stack, microservices based architecture, salesforce, Open Source etc for building solutions. As an extension of our operations in India we are building teams who fundamentally focus on global collaboration to provide business outcomes with digital transformation and enabling best place to work.
Job Summary:
We’re hiring for a leader of full stack development with a strong background in cross-platform software engineering and experience of growing teams and delivering projects. This opportunity will support the transformation of our industry standard order and delivery management systems. You will scale teams that work (end-to-end) on new and existing features, enhancements, and defect resolution on one or more of AT&T’s software systems and platforms. The position requires close collaboration with U.S based Product Management, Business Systems, and Operations teams throughout system development life cycles.
To be successful in this technical leadership role you have an active background in software engineering with extensive middleware and databases exposure. When required you will have the capability to engage at a ‘design & code review’ level. You will have experience in managing software development teams and are expected to have good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will need a deep understanding of software methodologies and the ability to balance technical expertise with business acumen. Ideally you may have had previous experience in a rapid-growth start-up enterprise. Alternatively, you have likely worked within an international environment and possess the entrepreneurial mindset to build and successfully mentor teams of software engineers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
·Design, implement, and trouble-shoot scalable and reusable software systems: 3-tier and cloud-based systems.
·Actively support configuration management of code and software.
·Support detailed documentation of systems and features.
·Act as liaison between external vendors and internal product, business, engineering, and design teams.
·Provide (technical) leadership to build, motivate, guide, scale, and mentor team members including performance management coaching
·Actively participate in coding exercises and peer code reviews as part of the development life cycles and change management.
·Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings.
Role requirements:
ØOverall Experience: - 20+ Professional experience in relevant areas
·This role requires leader to have strong software development experience, ability & skills to motivate, energies and develop team to meet business and technology objectives by collaborating with US partners and offshore stakeholders.
·Extensive full stack engineering experience, with an emphasis on backend infrastructure programming, ideally a minimum of 12-15+ years
·Digital Transformation Experience - Proven outcome-based experience in Salesforce and other technologies delivery and support. Build a culture of Innovation, Identify efficiency opportunities.
·Strategic Collaboration: Developing Strategy, Setting Priorities to meet business and technology objectives by collaborating with US partners and other key stakeholders.
·Understanding of digital marketplace: Digital Transformation - Understanding of marketplace including costs and ability to go into details including Step into scrum Master responsibilities for one Key area depending on the need
·Hiring ability and ability to provide technical leadership to the teams
·Software architecture. Linux/Unix system programming and opensource frameworks experience (e.g., gcc/C). Object-oriented programming experience (e.g., C++, Java, etc.). Code reviews and analyzers. Network protocol and tools experience (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP(S), IPv4, etc.). Web API experience and architectural styles (e.g., REST). Python or other scripting language experience.
·Modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React), Test automation development (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.), Configuration management experience (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
·Database concepts: relational, NoSQL, and modeling, cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.), container technologies (e.g., Docker, etc.), software methodologies (waterfall, scrum, etc.) a plus.
·Business Management - experience with P&L, Business Case, Billing, Finance, Systems\Motivate, Energize team to meet priorities, perform key roles and develop them for the future. Strong people management skills
·Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence team members, peers and senior management. Escalation and conflict management, strong customer interfacing skills.
