Job Description:
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered
Facilitates Agile processes, removes impediments, and aligns the team to iteration goals to improve capabilities and velocity for optimal project delivery.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Facilitating Scrum Events: Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives efficiently.
• Removing Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles hindering team productivity and progress.
• Coaching and Protecting the Team: Guide the team in Agile practices, shield them from distractions, and foster self-organization.
• Monitoring and Communicating Progress: Track team performance metrics and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Fostering Continuous Improvement and Collaboration: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership. Supervisor: No
TCP Career Step Differentiator: Organizes and improves a single agile team supporting complex, large solution, and/or portfolio scales. Specialized in improving team efficiency and working with multiple dependencies outside of their team-of-teams. Work closely with Principal-level Scrum Masters to operate Scrum Master Communities of Practice.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
