AT&T Employee Resource Groups Connect at Annual Conference

What makes AT&T a great place to work? The people! Our teams come from all walks of life and have different backgrounds and experiences that contribute greatly to our success. Though our company has changed greatly over time, our commitment to diversity and inclusion remains strong and fuels our innovation. We pride ourselves on having work environments that encourage people to be themselves.

AT&T’s ERGs

One of the big ways we do that is with our Employee Resource Groups – or ERGs. These groups provide likeminded employees a way to connect over a shared background and experience. So far we have 12 ERGs that include Community NETwork — The African American Telecommunications Professionals of AT&T, HACEMOS — The Hispanic/Latino Employee Association of AT&T, LEAGUE at AT&T — The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies Employees of AT&T, and more.

ERG Conference

Each year, ERGs across the country come together for an annual conference in Dallas, TX. This year for our 7th anniversary, we had an astounding 1,435 employees plus staff and volunteers attend the conference – which sold out in 19 minutes! Attendees had the opportunity to go to leadership workshops, participate in fireside chats, network with employees from across the country, and interact with company leaders.

At the event, ERGs were recognized for their work in furthering the mission of each organization. Groups that won awards received cash prizes which will go towards funding events and various volunteer opportunities throughout the year.

Take a look at some of the exciting thing that happened at this year’s ERG conference!
