Help Desk Specialist I (Government)

COLUMBIA , Maryland

We are looking for candidates with great communication skills as well as strong problem solving abilities to provide 24/7 Help Desk Tier 1 support. Communication skills will be extremely important as - phone and in-person support for a variety of services including email, LAN/WAN, desktop applications and COTS/GOTS applications will be required. Shift work is required for this position.

A competitive candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of Help Desk experience as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technical or Math. Two (2) years of Help Desk experience with an Associates or three (3) years’ experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

I believe in AT&T and know they are at the edge of technology. The company believes in their people and offers all kinds of training to enable us to take on new jobs and to stay at the front of technology. The software defined network which we are building is the newest technology and AT&T has been involved since early 2000s. You have a great deal of autonomy at AT&T as long as you get the job done. You have the ability to do different jobs and be challenged at all times.

I really have little negative to say about AT&T I have worked here for 35 years on March 23rd of 2016.
