Connecting first responders (when it matters most)
AT&T is excited to announce the launch of FirstNet, the first nationwide network built specifically for emergency responders. Over the next five years, our goal is to make FirstNet a key resource for all first responders.
Connecting First Responders. Connecting communities.
We have always worked to find new ways to connect the world – and FirstNet is no different. The network lets first responders communicate and work together with faster response times, more secure information-sharing and the chance to form nationwide partnerships.
“First responders have never had a dedicated network like this,” explained Chris Sambar, SVP of FirstNet for AT&T. “It will enable everyone to collaborate, share information and work cohesively. And that’s really exciting.”
FirstNet is designed for first responders like those in public safety, transit and even power companies. From large agencies to small state patrols and volunteer organizations, this dedicated network will transform how first responders communicate and serve the communities where we live and work – all powered by AT&T.
With FirstNet, agencies will be able to share large amounts of information quickly and easily – and, for the first time, it will open the lines of communication from coast-to-coast. “Building and selling the FirstNet First Responder Network serves the public good,” Chris said.
“We are building a team and want to hire people who understand this customer segment,” Chris added. Over the next few months AT&T will hire Sales Acquisition Specialists and Program Managers to support the network. Join us as we create the best communication experience for first responders with FirstNet.
