Exercise Support\POI Analyst DIRECT LABOR

Location: CA

The overall goal of the TATT is to provide expertise and training to units deploying to theater on efficient and effective utilization of the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC). The TATT is responsible for coordinating the training of deploying units on joint, national and interagency intelligence, CIED and emerging asymmetric capabilities gleaned from the JIEDDO COIC; integrating processes, practices, concepts and materiel capabilities into Joint and Service DOTMLPF solutions; and coordinating with the training centers to provide realistic enemy and environmental signatures into models and simulations in support of realistic intelligence collection and analysis. Position is located in 29 Palms, California. Must be willing to travel up to 40% of time, with most trips of one week or shorter duration. CITP Analyst shall conduct comprehensive research on complex IED or other asymmetric threat networks and provide specific targeting intelligence in support of actionable target package development and execution. CITP shall contribute to all phases of research, planning, preparation construction, coordination and dissemination of targeting intelligence supporting the targeting methodology of D3A (Decide, Detect, Deliver and Assess). The CITP Analyst supports TATT to apply knowledge of intelligence, threat analysis and forecasting tools, applications and methodologies to identify and target adversarial intent, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and potential threat courses of action. Provide expert research, review, and integration of all-source intelligence in support of C-IED and other asymmetric threat network targeting. Develop geographically correct and reality based IED network scenarios, threads and injects to facilitate AtN operations in support of TATT training evolutions. Analyze threat network activities, composition and TTP’s, geospatial distribution of events, indications and warnings of attacks, and information operations; conduct information retrieval, knowledge consolidation, analysis, and development of assessments of facts, threat intents, knowledge and implications of the operational environment, and adversarial involvement in that environment. Provide training to deploying units on how to identify threat networks, composition, activities, TTPs, vulnerabilities and how to produce actionable targeting intelligence Physical Demand. Work is generally sedentary except during occasional visits to off-site locations where there may be a requirement to hike short distances into training areas. There shall be a requirement to assist in moving and repositioning computer systems, servers, and other office equipment weighing no more than 50 pounds per person (e.g. two-man lift 100lbs). Work Environment. Much of the work is in an office setting; however, during certain training events there may be a requirement to operate in a spartan environment where there is potential exposure to venomous snakes, poisonous plants, steep terrain, hot and cold, dry and humid weather.


Bachelors Degree required. Former military with training/operational experience as an intelligence targeting analyst- -USMC preferred. Must be familiar with all intelligence disciplines. 6 years of military operational experience minimum, 10 years preferred, including operational experience in either OIF or OEF.



Valid Secret security clearance required. TS/SCI preferred.
