As a Business Sales Account Executive, participants will complete a 20 week paid program at the AT&T Business Sales Leadership Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia. The AT&T Virtual Application Consultant (VAC) is a field deployed, technical associate aligned to Premier Accounts. The role of the Virtual Application Consultant is to provide technical support to the direct sales teams, Integrated Solutions Specialists and AT&T customers on advanced Hosting, Cloud and Networked Application Service offers. Areas of focus include but are not limited to working with the appropriate Sales Teams to develop integrated solutions that leverage AT&T’s Hosting, Cloud and Networked Application Services together with AT&T’s wireline and wireless network offers. The Virtual Application Consultant is expected to serve as the lead customer-facing technical subject matter expert on the Hosting, Cloud and Networked Application Services products and how they can effectively be integrated with our customer’s existing data center and network environments.

The Virtual Application Consultant, working with our partner organizations, is responsible for ensuring the technical solution fit between AT&T’s Hosting, Cloud and Networked Application Services and the customer’s business and technical requirements The Virtual Application Consultant supports customer technical presentations & briefings, provides pre-sale technical support for designs and strategy, and works closely with the the customer’s technical decision makers and influencers from their IT, data center, and network organizations.

The Virtual Application Consultant should have 5 to 7 years of technical sales and/or sales support experience focused on data center operations, storage, enterprise applications, and/or hosting. The Virtual Application Consultant needs to have a strong working knowledge of vritualization technologies and strategies (i.e. VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Xen Hypervisor, etc.). Background in implementing networked applications and/or remote storage in an Enterprise environment is an advantage.

Solutions Architect

A Solutions Architect is an mid-level technical role that is responsible for the design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise mobility solutions as well as supporting integration of business application projects. The individual must demonstrate technical proficiency that go into the formulation of solutions to develop and verify detailed designs for customer requests. Takes ownership in management and coordination of solution design implementation with external and internal suppliers from assignment receipt to implementation and support transition.
